Jaspal Singh Mann is the Managing Partner of Messrs. Mann & Associates. He graduated with LL.B (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton in 1993, and subsequently completed his C.L.P. before being called to the Malaysian Bar. He furthered his education by successfully obtaining an MBA from Ireland and a Master's Degree in Law (LLM) from the International Islamic University Malaysia, with a specialisation in Islamic Banking and Finance.
Jaspal is a seasoned and innovative lawyer who is deeply passionate about upholding justice. He demonstrates high levels of organisation and motivation, with a remarkable track record of achieving favourable outcomes for his clients. His expertise lies in trial preparation, document review, and adeptly presenting cases in court. As a strong leader, he thrives under pressure and possesses a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of the legal system.
He was appointed to sit on the Committee of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board of the Bar Council of Malaysia on October 12, 2021, further highlighting his reputation and standing within the legal community. His extensive experience in the legal aspects of financing is an asset to the firm. He has garnered vast experience in conveyancing, corporate matters, and criminal litigation, even handling cases involving capital punishment.
T. Santhakumari graduated from the University of Buckingham and has been in practice since 1987. Her experience covers a wide spectrum of corporate, commercial, and criminal matters. Previously a Partner and Head of the litigation department at Messrs. Seelan & Santha, one of the largest and pioneer legal firms in Rawang, she has represented and advised corporate and institutional clients that include major shipping companies, public listed and private companies, as well as serving as a panel lawyer for several commercial and financial institutions.
She has extensive experience in criminal litigation, conveyancing and preparing loan documentations. She is a prominent member of the Legal Aid and Criminal Law Revision Committee and also serves as the Legal Representative for Rawang, Selangor Darul Ehsan.
Tersaim Lall was called to the English Bar from Gray's Inn, London in 1996 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in July 1977. He brings a distinguished multi-jurisdictional background to the firm, having practised across both the English and Malaysian jurisdictions over the course of his career.
He is a Chartered Accountant (CA 6964) and a member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM 1577), providing a uniquely comprehensive financial-legal perspective. He has served as Company Secretary to over 200 companies throughout his distinguished career.
Pramjit Kaur is a distinguished alumna of the University of London, holding an LLB (Hons) degree. Her legal journey continued as she completed her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 1995 and obtained a Legal Management degree from Ireland. Her qualifications led her to be admitted to the High Court of Malaya, as well as the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak.
With a career spanning over 26 years, Pramjit Kaur is a highly skilled attorney proficient in diverse areas such as family law, company matters, corporate litigation, defamation, probate, civil litigation, industrial/labour disputes, and criminal law. Apart from being appointed as a Public Notary on 13 May 2022 by the Attorney General, she also sits on the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board since 29 September 2022, as well as serves on the Ad-Hoc Peer Support Network Committee 2023/24 of the Bar Council of Malaysia.
Ravindra Ramachandran holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from Hong Kong. He has been admitted to the Malaysian Bar (June 2009), the Hong Kong Bar (August 2007) and the Bar of England & Wales (July 2008) — bringing a truly international legal perspective.
He brings over 16 years of legal experience in Hong Kong, 5 years in Malaysia and 8 years in Indonesia, giving him an exceptional breadth of cross-border expertise across multiple jurisdictions.
Sivanesan Ramiah achieved his LLB (Hons) Degree with second-class honours from the University of East London in 1992. He completed his CLP in 1995, solidifying his legal education. His career commenced as a Legal Assistant at Messrs. T. Rajagopalu & Co. from 1993 to 1995, followed by Messrs. Sharif & Khoo from 1995 to 2000.
Building upon his experiences, Sivanesan established his own practice under the name Messrs. Sivanesan Ram & Co., gaining extensive expertise in conducting criminal and civil trials. In 2021, Sivanesan joined the esteemed team at Messrs. Mann & Associates, further contributing his wealth of experience and knowledge to the firm.
Gurcharan Singh Sohan, known as Billy, attained his LL.B degree from the University of Wolverhampton in 1993. Since then, he has made significant contributions as a lecturer, imparting knowledge in various legal domains such as Company Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, and Commercial Law. His extensive teaching experience spans nearly three decades.
Billy's remarkable expertise led to an invitation to join Mann & Associates, where he has seamlessly integrated his vast knowledge of key legal areas. His professional journey also included tenure as a Legal Manager at S.S. Enterprise. Beyond his academic and managerial roles, Billy excels as a skilled negotiator and mediator, with a profound understanding of both Civil and Criminal matters.
